Grapple with Your Past

Coach Rachel,  Coach Chelsea alongside Keesha McQuay got approved for a $5000 grant towards their research study "Grapple with your Past". This research study is designed for women with lived experiences of sexual or physical violence. Their program combines self defense training with therapeutic skills to promote healing and resilience. Their are hoping to help women confront trauma and rebuild their confidence. Be sure to congratulate them on their approval!

Program Updates

Ages 14 & Up Joining Adult Classes: Starting this month, youth ages 14+ will transition into the adult fundamental and all-level BJJ classes.  No changes for wrestling or younger youth classes (ages 4-9). This move will give older youth more advanced training opportunities and allow them to grow their skills alongside adult practitioners.

💥 New Kickboxing & Jiu Jitsu Classes! 💥

Kickboxing 6 Days a Week: We've added more opportunities to work your striking skills! Monday & Wednesday: 7 PM – 8 PM kickboxing classes. 

Saturday: 11 AM heavy bag class—a high-intensity, full-body workout designed to improve power, endurance, and technique.

 6 AM CLA Jiu Jitsu with Coach Richard: 

Tuesday & Thursday mornings – Start your day strong with skill-focused, situational training that sharpens your instincts and decision-making under pressure.

April 12:

VFL in Lincoln, NE – Yesenia T. is back in the cage at The Complex. Hit her up for tickets and come show your support!

April 19:

Nebraska Jiu Jitsu Championship – Don’t miss this! Register before April 7 to avoid late fees.

April 26:

Thunderhead Showdown in Axtell, NE – Come support the KCS youth boxing team at Thunderhead Brewery, 201 F Ave, Axtell. Fighters: Cole & Brantlee Juhl and Colton McCaslin are making their boxing debuts! Doors open at 3 PM, fights start at 4 PM, $20 Admission – Let’s pack the house!

May 2:

FAC in Kansas City – Jose Hernandez is back in the cage for another title fight, aiming to become a double champ!

May 10-11:

IBJJF Denver – Rachel Silverman is Competing, and we’re hoping to take a group of jiu-jitsu competitors with her!

IMPORTANT: You need an IBJJF membership to compete. Please complete your membership ASAP!
